If you don't take your exams your 3rd year, you can't teach your 4th. But if you go more than 3 years past your exams, you are officially a Doc2A, and still can't teach. Funny thing, catalogs. They're contracts, and mine doesn't have a normative time to degree. But still, I was going by the one in the 2004 catalog...7 years. And now I'm getting penalized for it.
This is ridiculous.
